Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of GuideBundle, the website at guidebundle.com and the related apps and services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by RetreatBooker LLC, United States (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization, and “you” includes it.
1. The Service
GuideBundle lets creators build interactive, step by step guides (for example free resources and onboarding guides), publish them on a public link, collect the names and email addresses of visitors who choose to share them (“leads”), see analytics and invite readers. Readers can create a free account to keep a library of guides and their progress.
These Terms include our Acceptable Use Policy, our Refund Policy and, for creators, our Data Processing Addendum. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your password secure and tell us promptly at support@guidebundle.com if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
- You are responsible for activity in your account and in workspaces you own, including the actions of people you invite.
3. Creator responsibilities
If you publish guides, you are responsible for:
- the content of your guides, including text, images, links and AI generated material you choose to publish;
- having the rights you need for everything you upload or publish;
- the leads and visitor data collected through your guides. For that data you are the controller and we act as your processor under the Data Processing Addendum. You must have a lawful basis for collecting and using it, give visitors a privacy notice that explains how you will use their details, and honor their requests and choices (for example unsubscribe requests);
- sending invitations and messages only to people who asked for them, and complying with anti-spam and marketing laws that apply to you.
4. Plans, subscriptions and payment
GuideBundle offers two paid plans (Creator at $29 per month or $290 per year, and Studio at $79 per month or $790 per year, in USD). Current prices and plan limits are shown on our pricing page. Taxes are calculated at checkout.
Trial access lets you create one guide and open a private guest-style preview in a new tab. Publishing, AI generation, and buying or using AI credits require an active Creator or Studio subscription. Trial access includes no AI credits or public publishing period. If your paid subscription ends, public links pause and AI access stops; your content remains available for editing and private preview.
Paid plans and AI credits are sold by RetreatBooker LLC. Payments are processed by Stripe, which also calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT and issues your receipts and invoices. We do not receive or store your full card details.
- Auto-renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period at the price then in effect, until you cancel.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time in Plan & billing. Cancellation stops future renewals, and your paid features remain available until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Refunds. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
- Price changes. We will tell you about a price change for your plan at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal.
- Plan limits. Each plan has limits, such as the number of active guides and workspaces. If you downgrade or a payment fails, you keep your content, but you may need to archive guides to fit the limits of your plan before creating new ones. Trial previews may show a GuideBundle credit.
Selling guides
Creators on a paid plan may sell one-time access to their guides after their business is approved. Guide sales are made by the creator's business, which is the merchant for the buyer, through its own Stripe account. GuideBundle is not the seller of those guides and is not a party to the sale. GuideBundle charges the creator a commission on guide sales, as described in the Seller Terms, which apply in addition to these Terms.
5. AI features
GuideBundle AI writes and translates guide drafts using the AI credits included in your plan or bought separately. Your brief and guide text and uploaded source text are sent to our AI providers to produce drafts and check content safety and quality. Plan credits renew monthly and unused credits carry into the following month only; purchased credits do not expire while your account is open. Credits are returned automatically when a draft cannot be produced. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or similar to content produced for others. Generated content is always saved as a draft and is never published automatically, so review it before publishing. You are responsible for what you publish.
6. Your content and our license
You keep all rights to the content you create or upload. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display and deliver that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Service, to show your published guides to the people you share them with, and to list public guides (title, description, cover, author name and language) in Explore guides on GuideBundle. You can hide any guide from Explore guides in its settings, and unlisted or invitation-only guides are never listed. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept for a limited time in backups.
We own the Service, including its software, design and brand. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
7. Acceptable use and enforcement
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content, unpublish guides, or suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put visitors, other users or the Service at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
8. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we do not offer a service level agreement and the Service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We may change or remove features. If we remove a material paid feature, we will give you reasonable notice.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting your account permanently deletes your workspaces, guides, leads and uploaded files. Cancel any paid subscription first so it does not renew. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering the Service (in which case we will give at least 30 days’ notice and refund any prepaid fees for the unused period). Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not responsible for content that creators publish, and we do not guarantee any business results from using the Service.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or USD 50 if you used only trial access). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Indemnity
If you use the Service for business purposes, you agree to defend and indemnify us against third party claims arising from your content, your guides, the leads you collect or your breach of these Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which RetreatBooker LLC is registered, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Courts of that jurisdiction have jurisdiction over disputes, unless mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree to the changes, you can cancel and delete your account before they apply. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
15. General
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.
